had an extremely 'fufilling' road run yesterday:)
ah nia, yunjie and i 'ran' our hearts and sweat out.

but we managed to come under 30 mins.
which is like a major accomplishment for us, the brisk-walking association:)
then, yunjie, charis,ben,derek and me went to PS to eat pastamania.
which was stupid of me, cause of the leetle metal bits wired to my teeth
yeah. i put on braces like on thursday
and like a total nube, i attempted to eat fishball meepok.
and indeed, POK! the metal bit dropped out
so i had to go and fix it back:(
which wasted like another half an hour
after which you'ld prob think that i would have learnt my lesson.
but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. i still went ahead to eat aglio olio.
haha. thanks to darling YUNJIE for keeping me company the whole time i took to eat the pastA:)

i feel quite bad, cause i was actually supposed to go watch EL with choir pp.
i changed my mind la:)

speaking of choir, the tenors were so hilarious during road run.
or should i say the UNFIT tenors were so hilarious.
haha. they just walked the whole race. until they reached the finish line of ROUND ONE
(btw, the guys are supposed to run THREE rounds)
then caleb decided to ACTION a bit.
and he did the ke garisan pose, about 100 metres away from the ERp gantry thing, and pretended to sprint.
and like some olympic medalist, he pretended to dash past the red tape.
ah nia and i were laughing madly back at the grand stand la.

i had a very happy happy birthday!thanks to all the people who made my day so special, esp my darling beautiful mother:) who prepared sharks fin soup, and all my favourite dishes!the day was esp pleasant since i didn't have to go to school early:) was pleasantlysurprised by the ALTOFAN! haha, no more HOT ava choir sessions! hahaha! love ya, xuemin and sixuan:D.

then those at the choir store sang me a birthday song while i smiled and looked around blankly:) hahaha.

then yunjie gave me a gorgeous FLOWER, that will last and last:) cause it's FURRY!hahahaha

haha. i wore a qipao for the first day and it felt quite strange. and then i thought. in the past, before the westerners came and brainwashed our brains, all chinese women wore qipaos. so, i should feel proud for carrying on the tradition:D
but ask me to wear it everyday and i'd probably laugh in your face. It has got to be the most uncomfortable piece of clothing ever. it's like you have to constantly SUCK IN YOUR STOMACH so that it doesn't protrude and form a bulge. then you can't eat too much, to prevent unwanted fats from being obvious.
oh well. i'm glad i'm born in the new millenium and not like the 1940s:)
the 2nd day i wore some kind of strange hiphop-jazz combi. you'll laugh when you see it la. haha. i'll put up the photos another time.

i went to g-auntie kat's house yesterday and my two adorable cousins(not the ones you see in the pic)nigel and sergio were hooked on their psp:(
haha. sergio(cute name eh?) was super funny. he was playing the sick sadistic game called vice city. and he very courteously gave us a running commentary on the game.haha! i can't remember the whole thing, but i think elaine has or will be posting it on her blog.
i just remember feeling quite sad. cause he kept talking about killing this and killing that. and i was thinkin, he's only pri4 and he talks like some professional hitman!

in a while, i'll be off for dinner with my dad's friends. these are the guys who went to the billy graham crusade and are the fruits of his labour. uncle vincent, uncle kai cheong, uncle beekeong, uncle gerald, uncle alan, my dad, auntie tricia. i was just thinking. it's quite cool. among them, are 3 missionaries,1 deacon, 2 worship leaders, 1 sunday sch teacher.
you can reallysee God working through their lives esp since all are 1st gen believers. really wonder what it will be like for me 40 years down the road. will me and my gen produce equally sterling results? will we still be serving the Lord? or would we have backslided and fallen off?
