christmas 2008: the first generation of sparkers, or rather, the younger gen who want to take a photo without the oldies! i looked like keira knightley from pirates! except obviously i don't have her stunning good looks(: or exotic features. but i like myself just the way i am!

christmas 2008: this is sparkers with the older gen(: if you can't tell who they are...they are the 3 lovely ladies infront who could actually pass off as one of our age, not in terms of their looks (duh)but in terms of their youthful spirit and attitude! pity the camera doesn't capture that!

DAY FOUR!

somehow! blogger! doesn't! let! me! upload! my! photos!

yikes!

back from sunway, had a wonderful time eating and playing and eating and playing with the teohhhhss
took like 700 plus plus plus photos, all of which i am unable to upload, due entirely to NO fault of mine. its either 1, bill gate's fault, 2 mr blogger's fault, or 3 the fujitsu people's fault.

anyway, we went to 2 theme parks, 1 indoor and 1 outdoor(:
cosmo's world and sunway lagoon...i actually sat the 360 rollercoster, just to make my dad stop bugging me for being a scaredy cat. which, for your information, I am not! at sunway, did the 360 viking, which was really scary cos they suspend you in mid-air, with a long long long pause, before you come crashing down. yeah, so it was like, "when are we going downnnnnn??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

and we did this tomahawk thing, that also revolves you around 360 degrees...almost fell out of my seat!

in cosmos, we went to the haunted house, and i think it's a total psycology thing, cos i was screaming the whole time and they weren't even allowed to touch me! but it was the set up lah that freaked me out. the way the guide kept laughing manically... elaine and I kept yelling and dragging our feet(: it's the environment! not us! hahaha

we ate like really really good food! we ate dim sum on the first day, sushi buffet, turkish kebab, cantonese restaurant, etc etc...

anyway, i had the time of my life, though i did miss all those back in Singapore!

problems seem to find me

there's something dreadfully wrong either with blogger, blogskins, my computer or my techno skills
as such, ALL skins that i try to change has like the bottom part ripped off

the prodigal child returns

I'm back from an extremely relaxing trip in batam(:
i just realised that the only photos i have are of me on the first day...
when i was still staying with my family
and i was still near my camera loving sister.
then when i moved in with debbie charlotte claudia, the photos stopped!
okay, maybe uncle yoong huat has some more photos of me
but, well, they're with himmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

if you could use one word to describe my feelings before i went to the camp, it would be 'lonely'

i felt so alone and empty, like God left me or something, although i know it's not it, but thats the way i felt, like really really low.

the message was a God sent. seriously, somehow in the pessimisticness of the whole message i felt, hey, there are people who actually understand what i'm going through.

God actually wants to restore me back to him.

he still wants me.

and i'm so awed by his grace to me, throughout the entire year of 2008

many other fun things happened during the camp silly stuff

like the time i rambled rubbish to debbie before sleeping

or the time in the pool games when angela and i spent the entire time laughing at the adults trying to dunk each other and fighting in the pool,

or the time when claudia asked us if the theme of the camp was 'apiece and bull' (by the way, it was arise and build)

the camp made me realise, how i long for christian friends, close bosom friends who share the same beliefs as me. people whom i can confide in.

i mean, i love my school friends, but i need some one to walk my spiritual walk with me...

pink-gross is an understatement

seriously, i'm considering camping out in the gorgeously yellow study room

obviously, i chose the yellow, and my sister's chose the pink.

AND i reminded them upteen times, you can choose whatvever colour, i don't really care, as long, as it is NOT pink.

and guess what? they chose SCARLET. which turns out to be a particular shade of PPPPPPPPPPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKK.



i'm seriously going to pull my hair out!
